Subject: Cleaning a pizza stone

How do you properly clean a pizza stone? I was told not to use soap.

water only, use a silicone type scraper.(plastic like)every time you use the stone it gets "seasoned" a little more.

Kathee is correct! Never use soap on a stone,scrape as much residue off after it has cooled and rinse with warm water,think of it as a black iron skillet,the more it seasons the better it cooks. try cooking cookies on it,they are wonoderful!
