Who are considered to be the 10 best Culinary Institutes in the country?
I am interested in enrolling, and would like to begin researching the most respected schools.
Thanks for the help.

Did you ever get any response to your email asking about good culinary schools? I am also interested in enrolling and am having a hard time finding information on schools. I was also wondering if you knew anything about good schools in France.
Thanks!Mom

Don't know an exhaustive amount but in reserching schools for son found that Johnson & Whales was a bummer as was the one in Baltimore, MD. He ended up at CIA and seems happy. I heard it was soooo expensive but seemed comp. to J&W and he got several thou in scholarship $$ largely because he did volunteer work in HS and had a letter of recommend. written by a grad! Good luck! Momkevin

look into scottsdale culinary institute in scottsdale AZ. I started 3 week ago and so far nothing but good thing to say. I worked in the culinary field for 7 years and when I decided to further my skills I looked long and hard. I think I made the right choice. Great credintals and great instructers look into itMark

What are the choices for culinary schools in Chicago? I've only been able to find two (CHIC and Illinois Institute of Art), but I find that hard to believe for such a big city. And are either of these 2 any good? zilvinas

If you haven't decided yet, you might want to
look at New England Culinary in Vermont. I
would suggest the Montpelier campus.
Bestthiings about it include 7-1
studdent/teacher ratio and 85% of your time is
in a "live" kitchen. It is not cheap though but
there is $$ out there. Lou Ann
