“The Education Centre has been a part of our plan since the early days of Roth Käse,” says Kirsten Jaeckle, Director of Marketing, “and it’s part of our two-phase expansion, which has finally concluded after three years of hard work.”
The new addition includes an expanded state-of-the-art Affinage (a.k.a Curing) Facility where Roth Käse cheesemakers will age their washed rind specialty cheeses to perfection; a spacious area that houses Roth Käse’s new brine system; an expanded packaging area; and a Culinary Education Centre where “chefs can come to taste and work with our cheeses in a professional kitchen setting,” says Jaeckle. “All this—in addition to the first phase build-out that included a new, more spacious Make Room where our copper vat is housed and a new employee break room—helps us make better cheeses, which will always be our primary mission.”

“The Education Centre and Affinage Facility have been under construction for over a year now— we truly can’t wait to open its doors to our friends and customers who have been with us these past 15 years,” says President Steve McKeon.
“The next 15 promise nothing less than more of the finest specialty cheeses in the world,” he adds with a grin.
