Women Chefs and Restaurateurs to Honor Edna Lewis,

Southern Roots & Hospitality at National Conference in Atlanta

 

Louisville, KY –Women Chefs and Restaurateurs (WCR), the nation’s leading association representing women in culinary professions, will host a special tribute to the late Miss Edna Lewis at its annual conference in Atlanta, Ga. In celebration of the conference’s theme, Southern Roots and Hospitality, WCR will kick off its annual gathering by honoring Miss Lewis’s enormous contributions to the preservation of Southern cooking as a chef, restaurateur and cookbook author.

 

WHO:              Nationally renowned women representing the vast diversity of  culiinary

professions ranging from chefs, restaurant owners, hospitality professionals, educators, food writers, farmers, food historians, sommeliers, marketing strategists, and other service providers.
