The International Association of Conference Centers Copper Skillet " Chef of the Year"

Chef Leonard Elias C.E.C. recently won the International Association of Conference Centers, " Chef of the Year" mystery basket cooking competition. The fast paced thirty-minute competition kicked off with the introduction of two secret ingredients, chicken thighs and whole head-on shrimp along with a pre-determined fifty ingredient general storeroom. Chef Elias's dish was selected for the creative use of ingredients in his "Bang Thai Red Chicken Curry Sates with Shrimp & Cabbage Rolls " Other factors that lead to his selection was visual impact, food synergy and sanitation. Chef Elias will now represent the USA at the International competition in April of 2007 when he will compete against IACC Chefs from Europe, Australia and Canada.
