Women History Month at Macy's Cellar

March is Women History month and Macy's Cellar is celebrating it by featuring Women chefs on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:PM. It is Free. Samples of the food will be available.
Demonstration on March 1, is The Art of Hungarian Hand Stretched Strudel Sweet and Savory, a Potato, Sausage and Winter Green Strudel with Sorrel Pesto and a Roasted Pear and Dried Cherry Strudel with Maple Cream.

Chef Vera Eisenberg a graduate of Culinary Institute of America is a freelance food stylist for the Food Network’s Paula Deen Show.   She is Hungarian and specializes in Hungarian cooking classes and specifically teaching the art of hand pulled Hungarian Strudel dough and is working on her forthcoming book Sensual Strudel.
