Wild American® Shrimp Featured on Upcoming Emeril Live

"Wild and Wonderful Shrimp" Airs on Food Network Sunday, March 4

 

(Charleston, SC, Feb. 27, 2007) - Wild American® Shrimp, Inc .   (WASI) will be the featured product on Chef Emeril Lagasse's hit primetime show- Emeril Live-on the Food Network this Sunday, March 4, at 8:00 p.m. The show, "Wild and Wonderful Shrimp," is described as a "shrimp lover's dream come true"   and will include recipes and special guest Timmy Cheramie, a fourth generation shrimper from Bayou La Batre in Louisiana.   In addition to Cheramie offering cooking tips at Emeril's table, a segment will focus on the shrimper at home and on his shrimp boat as he describes the life of an American Shrimper. Featured recipes will include: Emerilized Barbecued Shrimp, Asian Shrimp Bisque with Shrimp Toast, Pesto Shrimp with Linguine, Nola's Shrimp & Smoked Cheddar Grits.

The show will air again on Monday, March 5 at 3 a.m.   After the airing of the original show, recipes from the show will be available on the Food Network Web site at www.foodnetwork.com .
