WMMB Names Stan Woodworth Vice President, Channel Marketing


MADISON, Wis. (July 18, 2006) - Stan Woodworth, an experienced Wisconsin dairy industry executive, has joined the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) as vice president, Channel Marketing.

Woodworth was most recently with Antigo Cheese Co. as the national sales and marketing manger and has additional sales and marketing experience
working with companies that include Swiss Valley Farms, Kraft Foods and
Stockton Cheese Co.  Woodworth also has a background in plant
management and milk procurement. He was raised in Southwestern Wisconsin where he often worked on his grandfather's dairy farm.

"Stan's deep understanding of dairy sales and marketing will be a strong asset to WMMB," said James Robson, WMMB's chief executive officer.  "His knowledge of national organizations and markets will help guide our strategies for WMMB's aggressive cheese programs."

Woodworth will direct WMMB's retail and foodservice regional managers,
placed throughout the country, as well as integrate marketing activities with
the WMMB Cheese Company Communications staff.  The vice president,
Channel Marketing is a newly created position encompassing both retail and
foodservice channels, a step that will strengthen a coordinated and dynamic
approach to WMMB's overall marketing program, Robson said.

Woodworth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration at Arizona State University and holds a master of business administration degree from the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa.

WMMB Promotes Heather Porter Engwall
To Director, National Product Communications


The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) recently promoted Heather Porter Engwall to director of National Product Communications.

She has worked for WMMB five years, most recently as manger of Marketing Development for Foodservice.  Porter Engwall joined WMMB as trade event specialist for Cheese Business and subsequently was promoted to manager of Tours, Trade Shows and Events. She is a graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa.

As director of national product communications, Porter Engwall will continue to direct WMMB's Chef Ambassador activities, a program that attracts chefs of note throughout the country who menu and promote Wisconsin Cheese.  Additionally, she will help manage public relations programming.

"Heather's hands-on working knowledge of chefs and the foodservice channel is a great addition," said Patrick Geoghegan, senior vice president, Corporate Communications.  "Her experience in tours and event planning will bolster our efforts to tell the Wisconsin Cheese story to media."

Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, a nonprofit organization funded by the
Wisconsin dairy producers, promotes the awareness and consumption of
Wisconsin Cheese and other dairy products.
