Product Description
Dedicated to gourmands who require only the best kitchen equipment, Mauviel's gorgeous copper sauce pan with cast iron handle is a versatile performer, perfect for everything from simmering soups at a consistent temperature to sauteing vegetables to searing meats. Measuring 11 inches in diameter and with a capacity of 9-1/2 quarts, it's constructed of solid copper, the most efficient conductor of heat used in cookware, giving you more precise control over the cooking process--especially at lower temperatures. It also features an an 18/10 stainless steel interior for maximum durability as well as enabling the use of metal tools. The stainless steel is bonded to the copper by lamination, prior to production, thereby achieving a uniform layer over the whole pot. It's complemented by a solid cast iron handle that's riveted to the body of the pan for added durability, and it includes a hole for hanging. A lid for this sauce pan is sold separately. Hand washing recommended. Exterior can be cleaned and polished with copper cleanser.
