Couplet composes a modern setting for formal dinners when florals and filigrees seem a little too frilly. The fine white porcelain is "stitched" along the borders with narrow horizontal bands of Oneida's new precious metal that falls somewhere between silver and platinum in appearance. Comprising a wide selection of tableware, Couplet exudes elegance with a welcome sense of vivacity. Rising with a supple curve from a modified foot, the Couplet serving bowl looks clean and contemporary in styling. The bowl measures nine inches in diameter and holds ample amounts of vegetables, salad, potatoes, pasta, popcorn, and a great deal more. Two bands of the stitch design along the rim are accented just below by a very fine line of the metal. An oval platter, gravy boat, salt-and-pepper set, and other accessories are all available separately to create a fully coordinated table.
