Cleaning of AvocadoSlice the avocado in half, from stem to bottom and give it a little twist.
It will separate in two, with one side retaining the pit. Holding the side with the pit facing up in your hand, take your knife and tap it into the pit and give it a little twist. It will pop right out.
Using a paring knife, cut slices or cubes into the avocado while still in its skin, then scoop the flesh out of the skin with a kitchen spoon. It's ready to be used in your recipe.
